Local women's players in Division I to watch

Chanel Chisholm, G, Cincinnati, North Babylon — Chisholm sat out last season after transferring from Vanderbilt and should provide an immediate impact for the Bearcats.
Julie Forster, F, Albany, Huntington — The 6-foot forward averaged almost a double-double (8.8 pts, 8.6 reb.) last season for the Great Danes.
Kirsten Jeter, F, Stony Brook, Elmont — A three-year starter for the Seawolves, Jeter will be counted on to help carry the squad to a top-four finish in the America East.
Michelle Kurowski, G, UMBC, Hicksville — A starter since her freshman year, the 5-9 junior has a 13.3 career scoring average.
Sammy Prahalis, G, Ohio State, Commack — Prahalis led the nation in assists last season and could make a title run with All-American center Jantel Lavender.
