There wasn’t any movement in the top 5 of the AP poll this week as LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Boise State stayed in their positions. There was no movement from six through 10 either. Kansas Sate jumped five places, however, and is No. 12. It’s the Wildcats’ highest ranking since 2004. Washington and Georgia entered the poll at No. 22 and No. 24, respectively, while Baylor and Texas dropped out.

There wasn’t any movement in the top of the coaches poll either. Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Wisconsin and Stanford all kept their positions. Oklahoma State moved up one place to sixth, while Boise State dropped to seventh. Nebraska jumped three places to 11th and Michigan State moved up six places to 13th after beating Michigan for the fourth straight time. Auburn and Washington entered the poll at 23rd and 24th, while Texas and Baylor dropped out.
