Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio, who was hospitalized two weeks ago after suffering a mild heart attack following a thrilling overtime win over Notre Dame, said today during his weekly press conference that he will return on Saturday.

The Spartans, 4-0 and ranked No. 24 in the AP poll, host 11th-ranked Wisconsin, also 4-0, on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Big Ten opener for both teams.

Dantonio said today that he plans to watch the game from the press box.

"I would expect to be in the box on Saturday," Dantonio said. "I just think walking around out there for three hours might be a little bit tiring. But that would be my initial plan at this point."

Dantonio was asked about easing back into the job and not jumping right back in full force, especially with such a big game on Saturday.

"Well, that's difficult as a coach, but I also think that there are guidelines that I have to follow based on my family, my doctors, my wife, my other coaches, and so I'm going to do it the right way," he said.

Offensive coordinator Don Treadwell assumed the head coaching duties last week as Michigan State beat Northern Colorado 45-7.
