Marissa Mills scored the winning goal with 1:35 left in the first overtime as the Adelphi women's lacrosse team defeated Stone Hill College, 14-13, Sunday. Stone Hill's Hannah Anderson scored to tie the game with two minutes left in regulation. Claire Petersen had two goals and seven assists for Adelphi and was named tournament MVP. Goalie Caitlin Fitzpatrick had 17 saves. Adelphi will play in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.

MEN'S LACROSSE

Onondaga 17, Nassau CC 14: No. 2 Nassau CC scored seven straight goals, including two by James McLouglin, in a 3:30 span during the fourth quarter, to come within one goal at 15-14 but came up short against No. 3 Onondaga in the NJCAA Tournament in Herkimer, N.Y. Owen Campbell had four goals and three assists, Kyle Smith four goals and one assist and Joe Herman two goals for Nassau.

C.W. Post 26, Lake Erie 4: Eddie Poompen had six goals and two assists and Joe Meo and Vito Minerva three goals each for C.W. Post (9-1. 14-1) in the ECC.
