No. 1 LSU vs. No. 2 Alabama for BCS national title

No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama will get a rematch for the BCS national championship on Jan. 9 at the Superdome in New Orleans.
The other BCS matchups were what was generally predicted. The one surprise as the Sugar Bowl taking Michigan to play Virginia Tech. The Hokies are coming off a 38-10 loss to Clemson in the ACC title game. The Sugar Bowl passed on Boise State, Kansas State and Baylor, among others.
