Michele Scannell scored with 59 seconds remaining in the first half to give the No. 2 Adelphi women’s lacrosse team a one-goal lead in a 7-5 win over No. 6 LIU Post in a Northeast 10 game. Scannell had two goals and two assists, and Kole Pollock added two goals for the Panthers (11-1, 10-0). Alyssa Mallery and Mackenzie Hitchcock each scored two goals for No. 6 Post (8-3, 4-1).

USMAA 16, Farmingdale State 7: Meredith Willard had seven goals and three assists to lead USMMA (6-2, 1-0 Skyline) in the conference opener for both. Jessica Reilly had six goals and one assist and Hannah Gizzi made seven saves for USMMA. Samantha Morra and Courtney Gendels scored two goals apiece for Farmingdale State (1-8, 0-1), and Jessica Meyers had 10 saves for the Rams.

St. Joseph’s (LI) 18, Maritime (NY) 9: Lauryn Gregson scored six goals to lead St. Joseph’s (3-5, 1-0 Skyline). Ally Johnston added five goals and one assist for the Golden Eagles. Krista Deleva had five goals and one assist for Maritime.

Mount Saint Mary College 16, SUNY-Old Westbury 15: Cameron Isnardi had four goals and two assists for SUNY-Old Westbury (1-8, 0-1 Skyline). Halle Johnson scored four goals and Rachel Phillips added three assists in the loss. Courtney Condron scored five goals for Mount Saint Mary.

Mercy College 17, Molloy 5: Jessica Markowitz scored three goals for Molloy (8-6, 3-2 East Coast Conference). Jillian Mayr added two goals for the Lions and goalkeeper Alexandra Long made 12 saves.

MEN’S LACROSSE

USMMA 15, Farmingdale State 11: Pat Coll had five goals and one assist, and Nick Treon added four goals and two assists to lift USMMA (9-0, 4-0 Skyline). Treon’s goal with 4:18 remaining gave the Mariners a 13-11 lead. Goalkeeper Brendan Kane had nine saves for USMMA. Conor McAvoy led Farmingdale State (6-5, 1-2) with three goals and one assist.

LIU Post 10, St. Thomas Aquinas 5: William Snelders had eight goals and two assists for LIU Post (6-2, 2-0 ECC). Snelders scored on an assist from Nick Grassa with 3:43 remaining in the third quarter to give Post a 9-5 lead. Goalkeeper Bryan Ochs made eight saves for the Pioneers.

Adelphi 13, The College of Saint Rose 4: Hunter Hayes, Nicolas Racalbuto, John Arcidiacono and Michael Osmundsen each scored two goals to lead No. 5 Adelphi (8-1, 7-0 Northeast 10). Dylan Crossan added three assists. Brendan McDougal made nine saves for Adelphi and Kevin Rice had three.
