Corey Rich had three goals and two assists and Todd Nakasuji and Riley Loewen two goals each as No. 4 Limestone beat No. 1 Dowling, 10-7, in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse Saturday in Gaffney, S.C.

Matt Crough paced Dowling (0-1) with two goals and two assists, including a goal and assist to help the Golden Lions to rally from a 6-3 deficit to within 6-5 in the third quarter before Limestone (3-0) scored three goals in a row to take a 9-5 lead with 13:21 to play in the game.

St. John's 10, Yale 9: Kieran McArdle scored three goals, including the winner with 59 seconds left to top No. 17 Yale (0-1). Colin Keegan also had three goals for the Red Storm (2-0).

USMMA 8, FDU-Florham 2: Sophomore attacker Geoff Harty scored four goals, three of them in the first seven minutes.

Suffolk CC-Selden 14, Harford CC 10: Connor Boesch scored six goals, Ken Mensen three and Brendan Schade made 23 saves for Suffolk CC (1-0).

WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Hofstra 13, Colgate 11: Alex Mezzanotte scored three goals and the host Pride (3-0) held on after taking a 13-8 lead with 16:47 to go.

St. Joseph's 14, FDU-Florham 6: Heather Ferchland, Danielle Dittmeier and Lisa Olen scored two goals each for St. Joseph's (1-1).

WRESTLING

DeKrone, Nassau CC take titles. Nassau CC's James DeKrone def. Zach Loveless of Northwest College, 7-6, at 141 pounds to win the Junior College National Championship in Des Moines, Iowa. Nassau CC won the NJCAA non-scholarship national title for the second consecutive year.

BASEBALL

Frostburg State 16, SUNY Old Westbury 3: Jonathan Pagan homered for Old Westbury in its opener in Crozet, Va.
