Army and Rutgers will play at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 12, 2011. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

It will be the first college football game of 2011 and third overall at the new Stadium. Yankee Stadium hosted Army-Notre Dame on Nov. 20, 2010, a 27-3 win for the Irish. The Stadium also hosted the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 29, 2010, a 36-34 win for Syracuse over Kansas State.

The Army-Rutgers game had already been scheduled for Yankee Stadium. The date and time were announced on Thursday.

Rutgers leads the series against Army, 19-18. Rutgers beat Army 23-20 last season in the first college football game at New Meadowlands Stadium.

The Scarlet Knights last played at the old Yankee Stadium on Nov. 13, 1948.
