Local college hoops fans should get their fill of St. John’s basketball as both the men’s and women’s programs will be seen on national television multiple times.

The St. John’s men will get plenty of airtime. At least 15 of the Red Storm’s games will be broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks. A 16th game (at Georgetown) will be televised on CBS.

The St. John’s women, under first-year coach Joe Tartamella, will play four games on ESPN’s family of networks and two games on CBS Sports Network. Those contests include tilts at Rutgers, Notre Dame, Louisville, Marquette and South Florida and home games versus Cincinnati.

The Red Storm women will face Connecticut on SNY on February 2. St. John's upset Connecticut in Storrs last season, snapping the Huskies home winning streak at 99 games.
