Stony Brook baseball head coach Matt Senk became the third coach in America East history to reach 600 career wins as the Seawolves swept Hartford in a doubleheader Saturday to complete a four-game series sweep.

Evan Stecko-Haley pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts as Stony Brook won the opener, 4-0. Maxx Tissenbaum went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Stony Brook (29-10, 9-2).

William Carmona and Steven Goldstein each had two RBIs in Stony Brook's 9-4 win in Game 2, which was Senk's 600th victory. James Campbell allowed five hits and struck out four in seven scoreless innings to earn the win.

Senk, who now has a 600-386 record, is Stony Brook's all-time wins leader. In 22 seasons, he has led the Seawolves to 30 or more wins nine times, three America East tournament titles and a school-record 42 wins last season.

SOFTBALLSBU's Cukrov sets school mark. Allison Cukrov threw two shutouts Saturday, leading Stony Brook in a doubleheader sweep of Maine in America East softball.

Cukrov's shutout in the first game, a 3-0 win, was the freshman's 12th of the year, breaking Stony Brook's single-season record, previously held by Alyssa Struzenberg.

Jessica Combs went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for the Seawolves (31-11, 10-1). Stony Brook won the second game, 1-0. Cukrov struck out seven and Karath scored on a fielding error in the first.

MEN'S LACROSSEAdelphi 12, St. Anselm 2: Joe Celano scored three goals and Joe Vitale had three assists to lead Adelphi (11-2, 7-2 NE-10).

Nassau CC 22, Herkimer CC 2: James O'Boyle had two goals and three assists to lead Nassau CC (11-2). Glen Tompkins and John Tompkins each added three goals for Nassau CC.

Farmingdale State 16, Maritime 3: Ryan Oswald had four goals and Tim Caden added three goals and two assists as the Rams (6-8, 4-2) clinched a Skyline Conference tournament berth.

WOMEN'S LACROSSEFarmingdale State 20, Sage 0: Senior Krystin Shand broke a school record with 14 assists and freshman Christy Thoden had a school-record 18 draw controls for Farmingdale State (12-1, 8-0 Skyline). The Rams clinched top seed in the Skyline tournament and will host Kean in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

LIU Post 15, Stone Hill 13: Abbie Ross (six goals) scored the tying and go-ahead goals in the final four minutes to lead No. 5 Post (12-1) over No. 7 Stonehill. Jackie Sileo added two goals and seven assists.

Adelphi 20, Bentley 11: Sara Sangiorgio, Alexa Froccaro, Meg Brown and Erica Devito each scored three goals to lead Adelphi (13-1, 10-1 NE-10).
