Stony Brook men bounce Albany in soccer
Leonardo Fernandes scored off his own rebound in the 61st minute and Raphael Abreu added a goal 22 minutes later as Stony Brook topped host Albany, 2-0, in America East men's soccer yesterday. Stefan Manz had four stops in goal and picked up his fourth shutout of the year for the Seawolves (7-5-1, 1-1). Albany drops to 4-7-0, 0-2.
Dowling 2, C.W. Post 1:Stefan Draskovic scored the winner on a free kick in the 84th minute for Dowling (6-1-3, 4-0-1 ECC). Jonathan DeFelice had scored in the fifth minute to get Dowling on the board. William Lindberg scored for C.W. Post (4-5-1, 2-1).
