Big SouthSCENARIOSStony Brook, Liberty and Coastal Carolina all have a shot at the Big South's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.
Stony Brook (9-2, 5-1 Big South) -- Gets the bid if Liberty loses at VMI because it wins a head-to-head tie with Coastal.
SBU, whose regular season is over, is a candidate for an at-large bid when the 20-team field is announced next Sunday.
Liberty (5-5, 4-1) -- Gets the bid with a win at VMI (2-8, 1-4) if Coastal loses at home to Charleston Southern.
Coastal Carolina (6-4, 4-1) -- Must beat CSU (5-5, 3-2) and get a Liberty win to create three-way tie. It wins tiebreaker with a 3-0 conference road record.
