Big South Conference automatic qualifier scenarios

Stony Brook (5-0), Coastal Carolina (4-1) and Liberty (4-1) remain in contention for the Big South Conference regular-season title and automatic berth in the FCS playoffs.

If Liberty beats Stony Brook and Coastal Carolina defeats Charleston Southern to create a three-way tie in the final standings, fewest points allowed in all conference games will determine which team gets the automatic bid.

Stony Brook has allowed 68 points, Coastal Carolina 106 and Liberty 110.

If the teams remain tied, strength of schedule as determined by the Sagarin ratings will crown a champion.
