When we last saw Anquan Boldin, he was making a ton of catches for the Ravens in their Super Bowl victory over the 49ers.
Now, he's about to become a member of the team he just beat.
Per Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Boldin has been traded to the 49ers in exchange for a sixth-round pick. The Ravens wanted Boldin to take a paycut to remain with the team, but Boldin steadfastly refused.
It is now believed the 49ers will pay him his $6 million salary in 2013.
Boldin had 22 catches for 380 yards and four touchdowns in the playoffs, including six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers in the Super Bowl.
Boldin is currently in Africa on a three-day trip to Senegal. He was joined by Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Falcons wide receiver Roddy White.
