Bob Glauber's NFL mock draft
1. Rams
Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Rams need a new face of the franchise, and there's no better candidate than the former Heisman Trophy winner.
2. Lions
Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Coach Jim Schwartz told fans cheering for Suh at predraft event, "You won't be disappointed." Sounds like he's their guy.
3. Buccaneers
Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
The next Warren Sapp? The Bucs sure hope so.
4. Redskins
Trent Williams, T, Oklahoma
Russell Okung another possibility, but we're hearing Mike Shanahan prefers Williams' athleticism.
5. Chiefs
Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Best playmaking defender in the draft. Ball-hawking safety a major upgrade for Chiefs' mediocre defense.
6. Seahawks
Russell Okung, T, Oklahoma
Seahawks need to find the next Walter Jones.
7. Browns
Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Jimmy Clausen not out of the question. But Haden's talent as pure cover corner hard to pass up.
8. Raiders
Anthony Davis, T, Rutgers: Al Davis is likely to do anything, but the need pick is on the offensive line.
9. Bills
Brian Bulaga, T, Iowa
Bills' depth along the offensive line is nonexistent.
10. Jaguars
Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Jags' pass rush in a word: Abysmal.
11. Broncos
Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
Too high? Perhaps. And there's interest in Rolando McClain. But Broncos also need a replacement for recently traded Brandon Marshall.
12. Dolphins
Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
Dolphins could go with Sergio Kindle to upgrade pass rush but also must deal with fading Jason Ferguson, who will be suspended first eight games.
13. 49ers
Niners need a tackle to play opposite Joe Staley.
14. Seahawks
C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
If Seahawks can get franchise LT and RB in same draft, it would be huge.
15. Giants
Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
Giants might have to move up to get him, but he'd be perfect successor to Antonio Pierce.
16. Titans
Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas
Titans have lost much of pass rush over last two years with free-agent defections of Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch.
17. 49ers
Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Niners still not sold on Alex Smith.
18. Steelers
Maurkice Pouncey, C, Florida
An immediate upgrade to an offensive line with pass-protection problems.
19. Falcons
Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
John Abraham not getting any younger.
20. Texans
Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
Cornerback climbing the charts. Texans need a replacement for Dunta Robinson.
21. Bengals
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Carson Palmer needs a midrange receiving threat, and Gresham fits the bill.
22. Patriots
Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn State
Bill Belichick has to replace Richard Seymour. Odrick a quality DE in a 3-4 alignment.
23. Packers
Mike Iupati, G, Idaho
Best of the remaining offensive linemen. Packers have tremendous problems protecting Aaron Rodgers.
24. Eagles
Earl Thomas, S, Texas
Might have to trade up to get him. Iggles need to find the next Brian Dawkins.
25. Ravens
Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida State
Ravens' secondary in need of a youth movement.
26. Cardinals
Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri
After losing Karlos Dansby and Antrell Rolle in free agency, time to restock the defense.
27. Cowboys
Taylor Mays, S, USC
Cowboys still haven't replaced Roy Williams.
28. Chargers
Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State
Goodbye LaDainian, Hello Ryan.
29. Jets
Jerry Hughes, OLB, TCU
Jets can go any number of directions, but hard to go wrong with solid pass-rushing OLB in Hughes, especially if he falls in their laps. DT Brian Price another possibility.
30. Vikings
Brett Favre won’t play forever. Vikings fell for Tebow after meeting him. Perfect spot to learn behind Favre.
31. Colts
Rodger Saffold, T, Indiana
Unsung blocker could find a job early on. Colts also like Iupati if he's available.
32. Saints
Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
Saints can afford to go with value pick here. Graham a bit undersized but worth it at this spot.
