Tom Brady usually finds his targets. Now he can finally set his sights on playoff success.

The record-shattering Patriots star extended his streak to 11 games without an interception in the team's eighth straight win and fourth rout in five games, 38-7 over the visiting Dolphins Sunday.

"Interceptions pretty much ruin my night," said Brady, who threw two touchdowns. "I'm glad tonight's not ruined."

He's ruined plenty of nights for opponents. For coach Tony Sparano and the Dolphins, their season was ruined even before their latest debacle.

Sparano, going into the final year of his deal, could lose his job after four losses in the last five games. After leading Miami to the AFC East title in 2008, his first season, he coached them to two 7-9 records.

Brady played into the third quarter and, most importantly, stayed healthy as the Pats (14-2) look ahead to the AFC divisional playoffs after a bye week. If the Jets win at Indy Saturday, New England will host Rex Ryan & Co. in Jets-Pats III.

Cowboys 14, Eagles 13

Stephen McGee threw a 4-yard TD pass to Jason Witten with 55 seconds left as visiting Dallas finished 6-10, 5-3 since Garrett took over for Wade Phillips. Michael Vick and nearly every starter didn't play for the Eagles (10-6), who host Green Bay in a wild-card game.

Chargers 33, Broncos 28

Philip Rivers beat Denver for the eighth time in 10 tries as visiting San Diego (9-7) handed the Broncos their franchise-record 12th loss. Good news: Denver secured the No. 2 overall draft pick and Hall of Famer John Elway is expected to rejoin the team as their chief football executive by midweek, a person with knowledge of the negotiations said.

49ers 38, Cardinals 7

Alex Smith threw two TDs in possibly his last start as host San Francisco (6-10) beat Arizona (5-11) and made interim coach Jim Tomsula a winner. - AP
