Peyton Manning hasn't made a final decision yet on where he'll play next season, but it appears the Cardinals and Dolphins may be out of contention. That would leave the Broncos and Titans as the two finalists.

The Cardinals had Manning in for a visit on Sunday, while Dolphins officials met with Manning in Indianapolis on Monday. Arizona needs to know from Manning by today whether they're still in the hunt, because they have a decision to make on a roster bonus involving quarterback Kevin Kolb, who was acquired in a trade last year with the Eagles.

The Cardinals owe Kolb a $7 million roster bonus as of 4 p.m. (eastern) today. If they know they're out of the Manning sweepstakes - and indications are that's the case - they're expected to make the payment and thereby keep Kolb in a Cardinals uniform next season.

The Dolphins also appear to be moving on from Manning, because they're hosting free agent quarterback Matt Flynn this weekend. Flynn, a Packers' backup under Aaron Rodgers whose contract expired after last season, is meeting with Seattle officials today. The Dolphins have a big edge in the Flynn recruiting process, because new head coach Joe Philbin was the Packers' quarterbacks coach before getting the Miami job.
