The NFL fined Panthers cornerback Josh Norman $26,044 for two infractions in Sunday’s game against the Giants, according to USA Today.

That’s roughly half of the $52,529 game check that Odell Beckham Jr. is set to lose if his one-game suspension is upheld.

Norman was fined $8,681 for a facemask and $17,363 for striking Beckham in the head and neck area, according to the report.

When the league announced Beckham’s suspension on Monday, it also stated that “the conduct of other players in the Panthers-Giants game is being reviewed for potential discipline in the form of fines.”

NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino told NFL Network on Tuesday that he though both players should have been ejected.

“It’s certainly an accumulation of instances, and not just on Beckham,” he said. “There was some things on the other side, too, and I think both parties were involved. The officials, if you asked them, they would agree after looking at the tape that ejections were warranted.”
