Turns out the Jets' 17-13 loss to the Broncos on Nov. 17 gave Rex Ryan a stomach ache as well as a headache.

Ryan had a bad case of indigestion after the game, and the Jets' medical staff called paramedics in Denver as a precaution before the team took off to fly home, according to the Denver Post.

Ryan told the paper that he occasionally has problems with stomach aches as a result of a surgical procedure in March, 2010. He had a band placed around his stomach to reduce his caloric intake.

"Sometimes with the lap band, you get indigestion," Ryan told the paper. "All along, I knew that was the case. However, our medical ataff didn't want to take any chances. Once I got to the airport, I felt better. It was no big deal. Believe me, the loss to the Broncos hurt a lot worse than this did."

The Jets lost the lead in the fourth quarter, as Tim Tebow led the Broncos on a 95-yard drive in the final minutes and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 20-yard scramble around left end.
