Drew Brees will wear a knee brace
Ok, no need for Saints fans to panic, but Drew Brees suffered a blow to his left knee in last Sunday’s overtime loss to the Falcons, and will wear a brace for this week’s game against the Panthers.
Brees underwent an MRI on the knee after the game, but no serious problems were detected. It is notable, however, that Brees did suffered a torn ACL in the left knee when he was a junior in high school, and he wore a brace his entire senior season. He hasn’t had a problem with the knee since.
“It’s just sore,” Brees said, per the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "I’m very confident that by game day it will be fine.”
