Ex-Dolphin Ronnie Brown will join McCoy in backfield
The Eagles agreed to contract terms Tuesday with former Dolphin Ronnie Brown. He ran for 4,815 yards and 36 touchdowns and caught 184 passes for 1,491 yards in six seasons with Miami.
Brown is the Eagles' seventh major acquisition in the past week, along with defensive linemen Jason Babin and Cullen Jenkins, cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha, offensive lineman Evan Mathis and quarterback Vince Young.
Before adding Brown, the Eagles' only experienced running backs were LeSean McCoy, who ran for 1,080 yards and caught 70 passes last season, and the rarely used Eldra Buckley.

Punter Hodges out for year
In only their second practice in full pads, the Browns had a key player go down without being touched. Punter Reggie Hodges tore his Achilles tendon and will need season-ending surgery, team president Mike Holmgren said.
Hodges caught a snap in the back of the end zone, took a step forward and crumpled to the turf.
"It's terrible," long snapper Ryan Pontbriand said. "I couldn't even concentrate the rest of practice after it happened."
Hodges averaged 43.9 yards on 78 punts last season, putting 29 kicks inside the 20. The Browns gave him a two-year extension in November.
The team has no other punters in camp.
A person familiar with the negotiations said the Browns agreed to terms with defensive tackle Phil Taylor, their first-round draft pick.
Tackle McKinnie released
The Vikings released left tackle Bryant McKinnie. He spent his first nine seasons in Minnesota, starting immediately after ending an eight-game holdout as a rookie.
TE Miller agrees to deal
The Seahawks announced they had reached agreement on a reported five-year deal with Pro Bowl tight end Zach Miller, a former Raider.
