Favre practices Friday, on target to start

 There's still no definitive word about whether Brett Favre will start on Sunday against the Patriots, but the best indication might have come from Vikings practice today. Favre was in uniform and taking snaps with the first team during the media portion of practice, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. 

Brad Childress will address the media after practice to give a more definitive update on the situation. But if Favre is working with the 1's, you can be almost certain he'll be in uniform for his 292nd straight start against the Patriots. Favre aggravated an ankle injury in last Sunday night's 28-24 loss to the Packers in Green Bay.
