Flacco rallies Raves in final seconds
Joe Flacco hit Torrey Smith for a 26-yard touchdown pass with eight seconds to go as visiting Baltimore rallied past the Steelers, 23-20, Sunday night.
Five plays after letting a sure TD toss tip off his hands, Smith capped Baltimore's game-winning 92-yard drive by beating William Gay down the right sideline as the Ravens (6-2) snapped Pittsburgh's four-game winning streak.
Baltimore swept the season series from the rival Steelers (6-3) for the first time since 2006. The Steelers led 20-16 with less than five minutes to go when Ben Roethlisberger hit Mike Wallace for a 25-yard score.
Packers 45, Chargers 38
Aaron Rodgers threw touchdown passes to four receivers as visiting Green Bay (8-0) held on to beat the banged-up Chargers and remain the NFL's only undefeated team. San Diego (4-4) has lost three straight.
Rodgers was 21-for-26 for 247 yards and ran his NFL-leading total to 24 touchdown throws. He had scoring passes of 5 yards to Jermichael Finley, 16 to Jordy Nelson, 21 to James Jones and 4 to Greg Jennings.
Rivers also threw four touchdown passes to tie his career high, three of them to Vincent Jackson, but had three interceptions. Two were returned for touchdowns in the span of six plays in the first quarter.
Broncos 38, Raiders 24
Tim Tebow threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a career-high 117 yards, Eddie Royal returned a punt 85 yards for the tiebreaking score and Willis McGahee ran for 163 yards to spark visiting Denver (3-5). McGahee had scoring runs of 60 and 24 yards. The Raiders (4-4) are 0-2 since acquiring quarterback Carson Palmer.
Cardinals 19, Rams 13
Rookie cornerback Patrick Peterson returned a punt 99 yards for a touchdown in overtime to lift host Arizona (2-6).
Peterson's pass interference penalty moments earlier seemed to set up the Rams (1-7) for a winning field goal, but Calais Campbell blocked Josh Brown's 42-yard field-goal attempt as regulation ended to force the overtime.
Bengals 24, Titans 17
Andy Dalton threw for three touchdowns as visiting Cincinnati rallied from a 10-point deficit for its fifth straight win. The Bengals (6-2) last won five in a row in 1988 when they took the AFC championship and went to their second Super Bowl. Tennessee is 4-4.
49ers 19, Redskins 11
Frank Gore ran for 107 yards and the 49ers forced three turnovers as visiting San Francisco (7-1) ran its winning streak to six games. Washington (3-5) lost its fourth straight.
Saints 27, Bucs 16
Drew Brees passed for 258 yards and two TDs and running backs combined for 195 yards rushing for host New Orleans (6-3). Tampa Bay is 4-4.
Cowboys 23, Seahawks 13
Tony Romo threw a pair of second-half touchdowns after host Dallas (4-4) had to settle for a pair of field goals in the first half. Seattle is 2-6.
Falcons 31, Colts 7
Julio Jones caught TD passes of 50 and 80 yards as visiting Atlanta (5-3) dropped Indianapolis to 0-9. The Colts have lost five straight home games for the first time since 2001.
Texans 30, Browns 12
Arian Foster (TD) rushed for 124 yards and Ben Tate (TD) ran for 115 as host Houston (6-3) set a franchise record with 261 yards on the ground. Cleveland is 3-5. -- AP
