Rolle won't mention losing SB XLIII

While many veteran Giants will share their experiences from the 2007 season with younger players and try to prepare them for this Super Bowl experience, Antrel Rolle probably won't be talking much about his own. He was on the Cardinals team that lost to the Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII, the year after the Giants beat the Patriots.
"I was on the losing side of it, losing the Super Bowl, and I can tell you right now, there's not too many feelings that can feel worse than that," Rolle said. "To be so close and have a hard-fought game [27-23], I think that eased the pain a little bit as opposed to going there and just getting your butt whupped. But I definitely don't want to feel that again."
The pain may still be sharp, but Rolle said he won't share that with his teammates this week. He's one of three players who have lost a Super Bowl. Rocky Bernard lost with the Seahawks and Deon Grant lost with the Panthers.
Concussion not aim
After Sunday's NFC Championship, Giants players Jacquian Williams and Devin Thomas were quoted as saying that they were aware of Kyle Williams' history with concussions and they wanted to make sure they hit the 49ers returner. But Tuesday, Giants players said they weren't trying to cause another concussion. "Obviously, we consider ourselves to be a physical group and we want to hit everybody," Justin Tuck said. "But I don't think we've ever talked about knocking anybody out with concussions or anything like that. We kind of stay away from that."
Added Michael Boley: "Concussions are a big deal. Obviously, we don't want to hurt anybody. We're a fraternity of brothers all across the league."
