Brandon Jacobs: You won't hear a peep out of me

For the first time in his career with the Giants, Brandon Jacobs was booed lustily during Sunday's game. Whether it was the dropped pass and fumble on his first two touches or his comments from earlier in the week griping about his carries and suggesting that his time with the Giants was nearly over, the crowd let him have it.
"I don't care if they cheer for me another day," Jacobs said Tuesday at an NFL Play60 event at Essence School in Brooklyn. "They could boo me every day. But they should boo when I'm about to start scoring these touchdowns, as well."
Jacobs said he will no longer act unhappy. After conversations with teammates such as Deon Grant and Antrel Rolle and a talk with his wife, Kimberly, he's decided to put his own issues aside.
"Things didn't go well for me because I'm not feeling well, I'm not happy," he said of Sunday, when he got 10 yards on four carries. "So I'm going to commit to it and I'm going to come through it 100 percent and be the best that I can, if not for anybody else but my teammates.
" . . . Them talking to me and showing me they care about me a lot and don't want to see me like that . . . we've got to play ball and we've got to win games and they won't be able to do it without me."
A whole new "me," in fact.
"I'll show you how I turn it around and make it a positive," he said. "You're going to see a change, man. You're going to see a change."
Pats WR arrested. Julian Edelman was arraigned on one count of indecent assault and battery Tuesday after being charged with groping a woman at a Halloween party at a Boston bar. He denied the charges to police when he was arrested but did not comment at his court appearance. Edelman has three receptions this season but leads the Pats in punt and kickoff returns.
