While many Dolphins fans are clamoring for the team to continue losing in order to select Andrew Luck with the first pick in next April's draft, the current players say they are not willing to oblige.

"All that stuff doesn't matter to me," quarterback Matt Moore said Wednesday. "If that's the case, if they want the No. 1 pick, that's fine. But as a player I don't get it because we're going to try to win every game every week. As players we don't know if there's going to be a next year."

Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano called the thinking "sick" on WFAN on Tuesday. "I can't even fathom those thoughts of those people that conjure up that stuff. They have never played sports and pretty much aren't really our loyal fans. I can't really put any weight into that and I know the players don't listen to it. It's a shame, but people are going to talk and we just have to block that out."

Practice crowded

There was a time when the Giants had to worry if they'd have enough players. Now, after the bye and with the return of many of their injured people, they have a new concern.

"I hope we have enough uniforms for these guys," Tom Coughlin said before practice.

They managed to outfit everyone. For the first time this season, every member of the active roster practiced. Even Ramses Barden, who is still on PUP. Prince Amukamara (foot), Brandon Jacobs (knee), Justin Tuck (groin/neck), Osi Umenyiora (knee), Michael Boley (knee) and Henry Hynoski (neck) were listed as limited.

Giant steps

Amukamara participated in some of the team portion for the first time since early August. "Physically, I'm just trying to get the timing down," he said. "I haven't lined up across from someone in a couple months so I'm just trying to get acclimated to that speed." . . . Barden still hopes to be activated off PUP and play on Sunday.
