Former Giants DE Damontre Moore, waived by the team on Friday, appeared on ESPN Radio in New York on Saturday morning on a show co-hosted by his former teammate Steve Weatherford. Moore confirmed reports that there was an incident between him and Cullen Jenkins over free headphones that led to his departure from the team.

”I definitely could have handled it better by just obviously walking away,” Moore said.

Moore also said that the incident with Jenkins was not the only reason he was let go by the team.

”I don’t think it was a one-time thing,” Moore said. “Honestly, I think it might have culminated over time…. By no way was I a saint. I had a lot of learning curves and maturity factors. I’ve grown over the time and I felt like, you know, things just ran its course.”
