What was hanging on Antrel Rolle's locker Sunday?

It was a picture of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers above an arrow that was pointing to a lollipop that was taped to the page. Under the candy was the word "sucker."

Clearly, the Giants believed they would be able to lick Rodgers and the Packers. Was that an insult to Rodgers?

Rolle said it wasn't. "He's not a sucker," he said. "But we're trying to have fun around here."

Rolle also called Rodgers "one of the best quarterbacks I've ever faced" and said he doesn't like facing him very often. "He's an exceptional quarterback and a friend and I have the utmost respect for him,'' Rolle said, "but when we go out to battle, he's the enemy."

The Packers questioned how tough the Giants are as blockers. Anyone prove them wrong?

Believe it or not, Eli Manning did. Late in the game, when Ahmad Bradshaw took a handoff and swung around to the right, it was the quarterback who was able to seal off the edge and allow him to scamper for 24 yards and set up the game's final TD. "It might not have been the best technique,'' Manning said, "but it got the job done."

Did he celebrate it?

He pointed it out on the video board to the offensive linemen.

"We heard about 'The Scramble' last week," Chris Snee said of Manning's 14-yard run that helped beat Atlanta, "and now we'll hear about 'The Block.' ''

The Giants recovered two onside kicks. Do they practice it?

Heck, yeah! Every Friday, and they expected the Packers to try at least one. The first could have been a surprise, coming early in the second quarter, but Derrick Martin recovered it. The second was more conventional, although the Packers were loaded up to their right and Mason Crosby kicked it left. The ball went through Spencer Paysinger's legs Buckner-style, which could have been a serious problem with the Giants up 30-20 and 4:46 left. But Victor Cruz was there -- isn't he always? -- and said it was "most definitely" one of his biggest catches.

Why didn't Chase Blackburn score on his 40-yard fumble return to the 4?

Simple. "I'm slow," he said with a shrug. "What can I say?"

Any serious injuries?

Chris Canty appeared to hurt his knee but returned. The team performed concussion tests on Deon Grant, but he was clear-headed enough to make a juggling interception with 1:47 left.

Why was the crowd booing when Canty was hurt?

Because they thought he was faking an injury to slow down the Packers' hurry-up offense.

"Fans pay their money and they're entitled to cheer as they see fit or boo as they see fit," he said. "It's unfortunate they won't be able to cheer next week."
