When the Giants start their offseason workouts on Monday, they’ll be joined by two very new additions to the roster. The Giants will sign free-agent linebacker Kelvin Sheppard and free-agent running back Bobby Rainey to contracts on Monday.
Sheppard was most recently with the Dolphins, where he was a teammate of defensive end Olivier Vernon, and has missed only three games in five seasons with 45 starts. Rainey played the last three seasons with the Bucs and is also a kickoff and punt returner.
