Justin Tuck says Giants don't want to be embarrassed by Seahawks
The Giants' first game as a non-playoff contending team this season comes against a brash squad from Seattle that is poised to clinch the top seed in the NFC. That could lead to a lopsided score if the Giants aren't careful.
"The last thing you want to be is embarrassed and this is team that, if you're not ready to play, they will embarrass you and laugh about it," Justin Tuck said Wednesday, the last part being what differentiates the Seahawks from other powerhouse teams. "That's just point-blank. I'm not in the business of being embarrassed. I'm in the business of going out and putting a great show on for our fans and helping this team win a football game."
The Seahawks certainly have a reputation for rubbing it in and talking a lot. Victor Cruz, who figures to get an earful from cornerback Richard Sherman, said that won't bother him. "I don't have to prepare for that," Cruz said. "I don't really buy into it, it doesn't faze me at all."
