Landon Collins wears No. 21 to honor a player he's never met, Sean Taylor. On Sunday, he'll get to play his first game at FedEx Field, where Taylor was an All-Pro safety for Washington.

"When I go out there and do warm-ups and stuff, I just want to look at the memory of him and his name up there and stuff like that," Collins said. "It's going to be fantastic and it's going to be a dream come true to be on the field he played on."

It will be eight years on Friday since Taylor was shot and killed during a home invasion. Collins never had a chance to speak to his idol, but he followed his career closely enough to ask Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for the number when he was drafted by the Giants in the spring.

And now, when he gets to visit Taylor's "home" stadium for the first time, he'll be trying to live up to that legacy.

"That's every game, every game, especially playing on his field and his turf," Collins said. "That's definitely one of the keys for myself, for me to go to that field and do the same thing he did."
