Live from the Meadowlands: 1st practice at new stadium

Diehl at guard with first team in 11 on 11's: Much talk in the offseason thus far about the David Diehl vs. Will Beatty competition at left guard. And all we can tell you from the first 11-on11 set in the new stadium is that Diehl -- the starter last year at left tackle was working over at offensive guard. At the same time Will Beatty was working at left tackle.

Hixon goes down with injury to right knee: Here with a quick note on wide recievier Domenik Hixon. Hixon went down, and stayed down for a little less than five minutes, with an apparent injury to his right knee. Trainers worked with him while the rest of practice continued. Hixon walked off on his own power limping because of the knee. He hasn't returned to practice.
