Rolle: I wasn't talking about Tuck

Antrel Rolle still wants teammates to practice through their nagging injuries, but he insists he is not talking about Justin Tuck.
A day after seemingly pointing to Tuck and saying the Giants need to have all of their available players practicing if they are well enough to play in games, Rolle appeared in his weekly WFAN spot Monday and blamed the media for misdirecting his remarks. "When I said what I said, I didn't pinpoint and neither did I name anyone,'' he said. "I wasn't speaking about anyone in particular."
In his own WFAN spot, Tuck said: "If it was directed at me, then whatever, but I don't think it was. I've talked to 'Trel since and we're on the same page."
Tom Coughlin said tight end Jake Ballard will miss some time with a knee injury (posterior cruciate ligament) suffered Sunday. Bear Pascoe left the game with a rib injury that could limit him this week. Travis Beckum already was on the shelf with a chest injury. Even if he returns this week, he is not an every-down tight end.
Giants receiver Devin Thomas, who was carted off the field during halftime after a collision on a kickoff, was cleared to return to practice with what Coughlin said was a "burner" . . . Coughlin would like an explanation as to why an apparent TD pass to D.J. Ware was spotted at the 2 and not inside the 1 after the call was reversed. "I want to know exactly what the ruling was there,'' he said, "because we expected it to be at the 1-inch line instead of the 2-yard line."
