Ronde Barber, Tiki's twin brother and a defensive back for the Buccaneers, was on Sirius NFL Radio today with Tim (Not T-Rock) Ryan and Pat Kirwin, and the subject of the greeting Tiki received during his Ring of Honor induction on Sunday night came up.

Ronde stuck up for his brother and lashed out at Giants fans.

"It reflects poorly on the Giants fans," he said. "They were there to honor him for what he did on the football field and they let what he’s done post-football come into play. I think it’s unfortunate. I think a lot of people will come to his defense. People that know and love Tiki know that it shouldn’t have gone out that way, it shouldn’t have happened that way. I heard from our manager, Mark Lepselter, that [Michael] Strahan gave him a hug and walked him off the field cause it probably could have got ugly. But Tiki’s a thick-skinned guy. I think he understood probably what was going to happen. I just wish that it wouldn’t have.

"It was supposed to be a joyous moment for all 30 of those people, those Giants that got inducted into that Ring of Honor, and to have the reaction that they had for Tiki is a little bit unfortunate.”
