Saquon Barkley already has been named Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Professional Football Writers of America and is favored to add the NFL’s version of the award this weekend.

But on Monday he will secure another honor, one tied to what makes the running back near and dear to more than just Giants fans.

DraftKings will name Barkley its 2018 Fantasy Football Rookie of the Year, a nod to his hugely productive first season. The site said he totaled 406.8 fantasy points, averaging 25.425 per game. In real-world terms, that is a testament to Barkley rushing for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns and adding 721 receiving yard and four touchdowns.
