Canty going back to Big D

Chris Canty didn't get to travel to the Cowboys game last year. He was injured, so Monday will be his first time playing in Dallas, the city he called home for the first four years of his career. He has, however, been to Cowboys Stadium. He visited the billion-dollar edifice before he left the Cowboys and signed with the Giants following the 2008 season. Of course, he'd like to play there twice this season. The Super Bowl will be played in Dallas in February. "You want to give yourself an opportunity to play in that one," Canty said. "That's what it's all about."

Bear sinks claws in fullback

Bear Pascoe began the season as a practice-squad tight end. Now he's a starting fullback, filling in for Madison Hedgecock (hamstring). He's catching on to his new position to the point where he might just wind up there. "He certainly had a good game, and everyone was aware of that," Tom Coughlin said. "I'm happy for him. The guy gives you everything he's got. He's there every day, works his tail off, plays multiple positions, runs scout squad, and does all those things. Come game day, he was able to take the practice field into play and really do a nice job for us."

Bradshaw leads the way

Want a good indicator of how the Giants are going to fare? Look at Ahmad Bradshaw's stats before you check the final score of a game. The Giants are 5-0 each time the running back tops 100 yards, including twice during this winning streak. Bradshaw is first in the NFC and third in the NFL with 582 yards. He is also second in the NFC and third in the league with 675 yards from scrimmage and he leads the NFL with eight runs of 20-plus yards. If he keeps that up he may be able to do something that Brandon Jacobs was unable to do: Go to a Pro Bowl.
