There were no real surpirses on the Giants' inactive list. No, those were taken care of on Friday afternoon when Mathias Kiwanuka was ruled out with a bulging disc in his neck.

About the only suspense this week was whether Keith Bulluck would be able to play. He missed almost all of the week with a turf toe injury -- he tried to practice on Thursday but couldn't -- and was listed as doubtful. Turns out the Giants' doubt was justified.

For just the fourth time in his 11-year NFL career, Bulluck will miss a game due to injury. Clint Sintim will play in his spot.

The other inactives besides Kiwanuka and Bulluck are Shaun O'Hara (Achilles), Ramses Barden, Bruce Johnson, Phillip Dillard (hamstring), Will Beatty (foot) and Rocky Bernard (back).

That means second-round pick and rookie DT Linval Joseph dresses for the first time this season along with undrafted rookie WR Duke Calhoun and recently-promoted CB Brian Jackson who will likely have a key role on special teams (probably why he's playing ahead of Bruce Johnson).
