Patriots Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski may need a fourth surgery to repair a broken forearm he initially sustained in November, and now his back is acting up.
Per Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Gronkowski recently had an MRI on his back and might need surgery there as well. He needs a fourth surgery on his wrist because of an infection.
The Patriots are holding out hope that Gronkowski will be ready for the start of the regular season, but time is starting to run out.
