Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards against the NFL's best run defense, Josh Scobee kicked four field goals and the Jaguars snapped a five-game slide with a 12-7 upset of the Ravens Monday night in Jacksonville, Fla.

Stepping into the national spotlight for one night, the Jaguars used their best defensive effort in five years to slow down Ray Rice, Joe Flacco and Co.

Jacksonville (2-5) didn't allow a first down until the third quarter, a mix of stout defense and inept offense. Flacco finally got the Ravens (4-2) on the scoreboard with a little more than two minutes left.

Baltimore had a final possession, but Drew Coleman stepped in front of Ed Dickson and intercepted Flacco's pass.

Suh: Ryan injury 'karma'

Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh fired back Monday at the Falcons, saying Matt Ryan's brief injury Sunday was "karma" and hinting that Atlanta's offensive linemen have been guilty of dirty play.

Ryan was hurt in the third quarter of a 23-16 win over the Lions. Afterward, the Falcons' Roddy White and Todd McClure told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Suh and teammate Cliff Avril taunted the quarterback while he was down. Suh and Avril denied the allegations.

Ryan tweaked a knee when Will Svitek stepped on his left ankle, but he soon re-entered.

Suh said: "To me, it's karma for all the bad stuff they've done in the past. Their offensive lineman hurt their own quarterback."

Stafford 'day to day'

Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Matthew Stafford is "day to day" after hurting his right ankle late in Sunday's game. Schwartz said Stafford wore a protective boot afterward. He said if tests had shown anything significant, the quarterback would be "more than day to day."
