Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo said on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Show that he suspects Darrelle Revis has absolutely nothing wrong with his hamstring. Yup. Mayo thinks Revis is faking it.
"Look, he's healthy, he's 100 percent healthy," Mayo said. "I'm not buying into that."
Mayo thinks the Jets are purposely spreading misleading information about Revis to gain some sort of psychological advantage.
"I woudln't want anybody to know," Mayo said. "It's just a decoy. So then everybody can be like, even if he goes out and has a great game, everybody will be like, 'Oh, he's the greatest, he has a tender hamstring. I'm not buying into that."
Revis has been limited the last two days in practice because of what he calls a hamstring tweak that may have been the result of being rusty from his training camp holdout. Revis is expected to start in Sunday's game against the Patriots at New Meadowlands Stadium.
