RB Shonn Greene did not practice Thursday afternoon due to a "low grade skin infection," according to the team. He is receiving antibiotics and will not play vs. Cincinnati.
The Jets could not confirm or rule out staph infection because skin infections cannot be cultured -- but they did say they caught the infection early. As of now, the infection is not an open wound, nor is it oozing, according to team personnel.
