Bart Scott is one of several Jets who hail from the Detroit area. What did he have to say about his hometown team?

"They're a good football team, but by far the dirtiest football team I've played against since I played the Tennessee Titans," the linebacker said. "They are the dirtiest team I've ever played against. Some of the stuff they do out there I understand, but I'll just be happy with the victory. I swear to God I hope I see them again in life."

Did Nick Folk finally arrive now that he's kicked a game-winner?

"Yes and no, I guess," he said. "Yes in the sense that we needed those two kicks to win, and then no because against Minnesota, we wouldn't have won it if we didn't have five field goals to start the game off. I think it happened earlier in the season already and I'm just trying to help this team win. That's the biggest thing."

Any thoughts from Brandon Moore about his matchup with Ndamukong Suh, who was held in check with just three tackles?

"Man, he's a good player," the right guard said. "I did a good job against him today and that's what I expect of myself. So it's no shock to me. He's definitely a great player and as the years go by, he's going to be the premier guy at defensive tackle in this league."

Did Bryan Thomas know how hard he tackled Matthew Stafford when he knocked him out of the game with a shoulder injury in the fourth?

"I'm really not sure what happened," the linebacker said. "I just saw once he got tackled, he grabbed his shoulder and turned out and went out. I swiped at the ball and kind of landed on his feet."

What happened on that roughing-the-kicker penalty on Trevor Pryce in the third quarter?

"Trust me, I didn't mean to hit him," Pryce said. "But I don't know how I missed the ball. I kept rushing from one gap and I decided right before the snap, I was going to jump around him. But they thought I was doing one thing. I was slanting real fast and I wound up in the backfield. I wound up back so fast, I really didn't know what to do next. I should've tackled everybody, but it happened so fast and I was like, 'Do I leave my feet? Do I do this?' And I leaned the wrong way. I leaned to my right and the ball was kicked. I felt it pass my ribs."

How come the Jets don't make more plays like Braylon Edwards' 74-yard touchdown reception just before halftime?

"That's the kind of thing that we can do consistently," he said. "Just throw the ball up and let guys make plays. The line blocked well on that play, Mark [Sanchez] threw the ball to the spot that we had practiced throwing to, and I was there to make the catch. It was a good combination all the way around. That's the type of stuff we can do when we just relax, when we don't press the issue, when we don't worry about everything else, when we just focus on a play, that's kind of what we can do."
