Brunell denies retirement report

But Brunell's agent, Bruce Tollner, told Newsday Tuesday that is not the case. In response to fans on Twitter, Brunell also denied he was calling it quits. Asked if the retirement rumors are true, the quarterback responded "Nope" and "Not at all."
But Brunell's comments in the Florida Times-Union made it seen he is in fact leaning toward retirement. "Most guys that have trouble leaving the game are in their 20s," said Brunell, who has been Mark Sanchez's backup the past two seasons. "I've been preparing for football to be over with for quite some time."
