Looks like Josh Freeman's starting gig with the Vikings may be put on hold.

After a woeful performance in a 23-7 loss to the Giants on Monday night - a game in which the Vikings' offense didn't score a single point - Freeman's status has been clouded by the fact he has been diagnosed with a concussion.

He will now undergo the league's protocol for the injury, and may or may not be ready for Sunday's game in Green Bay against the Packers.

If Freeman can't go, it'll be Christian Ponder, the man Freeman ostensibly replaced after the Vikings signed him following his release from Tampa Bay.
