Kreutz leaves Saints
Veteran center Olin Kreutz has left the team six games into the season, apparently because he no longer has a passion to play.
Saints beat writer Mike Triplette of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Kreutz "no longer feels the passion and doesn't want to just collect a paycheck," according to his agent.
Kreutz, a 14-year veteran, was signed as a free agent this year after leaving the Bears. His successor in New Orleans is likely to be Brian De La Puente.
