Kubiak: Schaub is on the mend
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, who suffered a Lisfranc injury that ended his season last November, is on the mend, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.
“He's doing great. He actually asked me to play golf last weekend,” Kubiak said. “So that tells you he's doing well. He's out of his boot. He's walking. He's doing everything he can do while he's in there [rehabbing at the teams facility] every morning. Our expectations for him once we get to OTAs is that he will do everything.”
The Texans won the AFC South last season and won a first-round playoff game with third-string rookie quarterback T.J. Yates.
