Leon Washington wins Ed Block Courage award

Former Jets running back/kick returner Leon Washington, who suffered a gruesome leg injury when he fractured his right leg in a game against the Raiders last season, has been awarded the Ed Block Courage Award from his Seahawks teammates. 

"It's an award that individually was given to me, but it takes so many other people to help me get that award - from the training staff, obviously my wife, family and friends," said Washington, who was traded from the Jets on draft-day. "So, it's a tremendous honor to receiver, especially when you know your teammates voted on it."
