ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions have cut cornerback Aaron Berry, two days after he was arrested for the second time this offseason.
General manager Martin Mayhew says the Lions terminated Berry's contract because of personal conduct which adversely affected the team. Lions president Tom Lewand says the team has stressed repeatedly that "there will be appropriate consequences when an expected standard of behavior is not upheld."
