Marshawn & Seattle: Perfect together

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next month, but head coach Pete Carroll doesn’t think he’ll hit the open market. Carroll says the team is far long in contract talks with Lynch, and that he expects the tailback to remain in Seattle for several more years.
“The key to getting Marshawn's deal done is what's been taking place,” Carroll said. “It's a process. And (Seahawks GM) John (Schneider) has worked very diligently on it, as has Marshawn's representation. It's ongoing, but we're a long ways down the road. And we have big plans for him being with us. He knows that. And he understands that. And we're just working it out right now.”
The Seahawks acquired Lynch in an October, 2010 trade with the Bills.
