NFL Draft 2014: Day 3 names to watch

There's just one day left in the 2014 NFL Draft. Here's a look (in no particular order) at some players to keep an eye on as Saturday rolls along:

Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood: D-II product has prototypical size to go with good speed and hands, but teams could be worried about the  level of competition he faced.

Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson: Has the size and speed for the position, but is otherwise raw.

Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin: Polished route runner with good hands torched first-round pick Bradley Roby last season.

Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU: Has prototypical size and arm power, but is coming off ACL surgery and has major character concerns.

AJ McCarron, QB, Alabama: Had strong supporting cast in college, but only has average arm and is considered more of a "game-manager."

Tom Savage, QB, Pittsburgh: Looks the part of an NFL QB and has powerful arm, but lacks deep ball accuracy and is viewed as a developmental project.

Kenny Ladler, FS, Vanderbilt: Ball-hawking free safety has good range and is a playmaker in centerfield.

DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State: Big interior lineman is technically sound but needs to put inconsistency behind him.

Caraun Reid, DT, Princeton: Similar to first-round pick Aaron Donald in that both are disruptive, pass-rushing three-techniques.

Zach Kerr, DT, Delaware: Nose tackle moves surprisingly well for his size.

Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State: Versatile runner was part of a committee in college, so he has less mileage than other backs in this class.

Isaiah Crowell, RB, Alabama State: Former highly-touted recruit has a ton of talent but transferred into FCS after being arrested on weapons charges at Georgia.

Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson: Athletic corner needs to fine-tune his technique, but he has good length and can develop into a starting role.

Antone Exum, CB/S, Virginia Tech: Missed most of his senior season with a sprained ankle, but brings good versatility to the secondary.

Michael Campanaro, WR, Wake Forest: Undersized, elusive slot receiver draws a lot of comparisons to Wes Welker and Danny Amendola.

Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee: Entered 2013 with first-round hype, but a bad senior season (with the lowlight being an awful showing against Jadeveon Clowney) caused his stock to tumble.

Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina: Explosive, shifty slot receiver also started at point guard for the Gamecocks' basketball team and has a lot of upside.

Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor: Speed demon who's always a threat to break a long TD run if he can get into the second level.

Telvin Smith, LB, Florida State: Isn't the biggest linebacker prospect in this class, but he's a fast run-and-chase weak-side linebacker.

Michael Sam, DE, Missouri: Faces an uphill battle to become first openly gay player in NFL. The pass-rushing Sam is a bit of a one-trick pony, but he does that trick very well.
